Project Results

The FACTORY partners have developed a complete set of tools to support SMEs and their staff to adapt to industry 4.0 challenges by focusing on transversal competences, useful to adapt to this new work environment.
 

Two diagnosis tools have been designed to help SMEs have a clear picture of potential improvements to facilitate their evolution towards a digitalization of production.

Partners have created a mapping of competences comprising 10 learning units focused on transversal competences for a better understanding of this new manufacturing environment.

Based on this above-mentioned curriculum, they have developed :

 

• An e-test to assess the level of knowledge of learners/workers and which enables training providers to propose a training pathway according to the results (the e-test is delivered with a guide for trainers)

 

• A mobile app which aims at helping manufacturing employees or learners through hands-on/practical experience to acquire knowledge for a better understanding of the manufacturing system and ease adaptability.

 

• A virtual reality tool to teach 5S method and the use of a milling machine.
